Federal Signal's Evacuator® (single tone) back-up alarm is engineered to provide dependable performance and exceptional warning power across a diverse range of vehicle and material handling equipment requirements. Built to withstand the most punishing applications, these alarms feature piezo-electric circuity and solid-state components that reduce amp draw (as low as 0.02 @ 12VDC), and minimize the adverse effects of shock and vibration.

Federal Signal redesigned the e-Q2B™ electronic siren to incorporate a 200-watt Class D audio amplifier for increased reliability, a smaller footprint, an additional feature set and an even lower amp draw. The newly engineered keypad features backlit membrane switches and large rubberized knobs making it easy to use. The e-Q2B combines Digital Signal Processing (DSP) to accurately reproduce the distinctive trademarked sound of the Q-Siren with a current draw of only 20 amps. In addition, the redesigned e-Q2B is compatible with the Federal Signal Rumbler Intersection Clearing System.

The Rumbler® is a revolutionary new concept to audible warning. Rumbler is an intersection traffic clearing system that interacts with most 100/200-watt siren amplifiers to provide secondary, low frequency tones. Low frequency tones have the distinct advantage of penetrating solid materials enabling vehicle operators and nearby pedestrians to FEEL the sound waves. The Rumbler is particularly effective when used in dense urban environments with heavy vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
